Shipping:
Items will be shipped by courier using a signed for service as soon as possible after we have verified that the payment for orders are cleared. We do not send out goods on the weekend. The onus is on the purchaser to ensure that the items which they order is suitable for their purpose as incompatible items cannot be returned or refunded.

Returns:
Non consumable goods will only be accepted for return if they have developed a fault which is due to a manufacturing fault. Items can not be returned which are damaged due to physical abuse (such as dropping), mis-handling (such as electrostatic discharge) or overheating (eg. inadequate ventilation or over-clocking).

Many items have a manufacturers warranty which require the owner to directly return said item to the manufacturer under warranty.

It is important to keep the original receipt to verify the date of purchase of items. This is needed to prevent fraudulant claims and to verify serial numbers of purchased goods to ensure that items have been bought from Downpatrick Computers and that the item in question is under warranty.

If you have an item which is elligible for return (ie: it has developed a natural fault; is a non consumable product; and is under warranty) then use the contact form to give details of: your name; the item purchased from Downpatrick Computers; the problem; the date on the invoice; your contact details including daytime phone and email. You will receive an RMA number and a returns form to complete and send in with the defective item using recorded delivery.

Items returned without going through the returns process cannot be checked, and no refund can be given.

Items returned with a RMA number will be checked. If the problem with the item is not found and the item seems to work then the purchaser will have to pay for the test and return postage. A returned item which has developed a fault due to abuse; neglect; improper fitting; or deemed to be used inappropriately will not be elligible for return and the purchaser will be charged a suitable testing fee.

Returned items which have been verified as faulty by Downpatrick Computers will be passed on to appropriate returns department for further testing. A replacement may be given after the independant test has confirmed the fault has occured naturally or duer to manufacturing process.
